Ryan Peterson was born February 1st, 1978 and grew up in Utah for most of his life. He graduated from BYU with a degree in English.
He spent two years in Minas Gerais, Brazil where he came to love the language and the people there.
Since then, he has spent most of his time working as a web developer, most recently for Premier Resorts International and Preferred Reservations.
He also recently (on October 10, 2010) published a sci-fi short story through the Barnes and Noble website as an eBook. The story, "Andie and I" follows a pair of scientists working on an android with surprising results.
